At Suzy Anderson Photography, I understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes affect your wedding plans. My cancellation policy is designed to provide clarity and fairness to both parties. Here’s how it works:

1. Non-Refundable Deposit:

To secure your wedding date, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable. It guarantees your date and prevents other clients from booking the same date.

2. Cancellation Timeline and Fees:

• More than 60 days before the wedding date: If you cancel your booking more than 60 days prior to your wedding date, you will forfeit the 30% deposit, but no further payments will be required.

• 30 to 60 days before the wedding date: If you cancel your booking between 30 and 60 days prior to your wedding date, you will be responsible for 75% of the total package price. This fee covers the initial planning and scheduling work already undertaken.

• Less than 30 days before the wedding date: If you cancel your booking less than 30 days before your wedding date, the full package price will be due. This is because it becomes challenging to rebook the date on short notice, and considerable time and resources will have already been allocated to your wedding.

3. Rescheduling:

• Rescheduling Due to Unforeseen Circumstances: If you need to reschedule your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to accommodate the new date, subject to availability. If the new date is available, your deposit will be transferred to the new date. If the new date is not available, the cancellation policy will apply as outlined above.

• Rescheduling Fee: Please note that rescheduling within 30 days of the original date may incur additional fees, depending on the circumstances and new date.

4. Force Majeure:

In the event of force majeure (such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other extraordinary circumstances beyond our control), both parties will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the wedding. If rescheduling is not possible, a fair and equitable solution will be sought, considering the work already completed and the non-refundable deposit.

5. Communication:

Timely and clear communication is crucial. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please inform us as soon as possible. We will work with you to address any concerns and find the best possible solution.
