I approach weddings differently.
I prepare ahead of time, study the environment, and collaborate closely with your planner so the day can unfold naturally without sacrificing strong visual results.
That means I’m not stepping in constantly or pulling you out of the moment.
I’m paying attention to what’s already happening, anticipating where light, movement, and emotion come together, and documenting it in a way that reflects both the experience and the design of your wedding.

I’m quiet by nature.
I pay attention to what’s happening around me before I ever lift the camera.
On a wedding day, I’m not directing the room or pulling people out of moments. I’m watching how things unfold and stepping in only when it’s necessary.
I work closely with your planner so you’re never wondering what’s next or where you need to be. My goal is for you to stay present in the day, not aware of being photographed.
The couples who work best with me are the ones who trust the process, value intention over control, and care more about how the day feels than how it looks in real time.

A lot of wedding days become over-directed without meaning to.
Too much posing.
Too many interruptions.
Moments that are meant to be experienced end up being repeated for the sake of a photo.
And you can feel it in the imagesMy approach is observational first.
I let moments happen, and I step in only when direction actually improves the result — whether that’s guiding you into better light, adjusting composition, or giving a quiet cue that helps everything come together naturally.
I don’t interrupt conversations or ask people to perform.
I pay attention to the environment, the movement, and the energy of the moment so you can stay present in it — while still creating images that feel elevated, intentional, and visually strong.
Elegant direction. Nothing forced
I photograph with both film and digital, depending on what the moment needs.
Film is slower. It makes me pause. I don’t overshoot, and I don’t interrupt what’s happening just to get something “safe.” I use it when the moment already has weight on its own.
Digital gives me range. It lets the day keep moving without stopping for the camera, especially during transitions, low light, or fast moments where nothing should be repeated.
I’m not choosing one over the other. I’m choosing what protects the experience in front of me.
Most of the couples I work with aren’t chasing a look. They’re thinking about how the day actually felt, and whether the photos will bring them back there without trying too hard.
