Take a Look Around My Corner of the Internet

Film has a way of making a moment feel more tangible — softer, less perfect, and somehow more alive. I use it throughout a wedding day for the frames that deserve a little more intention, allowing the imperfections, grain, movement, and light to become part of the photograph rather than something to correct.

welcome—i'm SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE

I use film selectively throughout the day..for portraits, quiet details, movement, beautiful light, and the moments that benefit from a slower approach.

Digital carries the faster-moving parts of the celebration, while film gives certain frames room to feel a little more intentional.

Not every moment needs the same camera.

WHEN I REACH FOR FILM

Film has a softness and unpredictability that digital doesn’t quite replicate. The grain, the movement, the way light renders — it gives certain moments a feeling that’s hard to manufacture.

I use film for the frames that benefit from that slower, more intuitive approach: portraits, movement, quiet details, and the moments that already carry something emotional.

It isn’t about making your wedding look vintage. It’s about creating photographs that feel tactile, lived-in, and a little more like memory.

Some moments deserve a little less perfection.

WHY FILM FEELS DIFFERENT

Featured in

Film changes the rhythm of the way I photograph. I’m watching for the moments that already have something in them — a gesture, a shift in light, a little movement, something imperfect.

I don’t need every frame to be flawless. I want it to feel like it belonged to the moment.

SLOWER. MORE INTENTIONAL. MORE ALIVE.

Film brings depth, texture, and timelessness to the imagery —
while digital ensures flexibility and full coverage.

The result is soft, cinematic, and enduring —
images that will feel just as meaningful in 30 years as they do today.

Many of my clients tell me they’re drawn to film because it feels nostalgic, emotional, and timeless — while digital allows the full weekend to be documented without limitation.

Film for the moments you want to feel, not just remember.

Film is part of the way I see a wedding — not something added afterward for effect. I use it intentionally throughout the day for the frames that call for softness, movement, texture, and a little imperfection.

Paired with digital, it creates a gallery that feels layered and complete, while still carrying the character that makes film feel so distinct.
